Mission

Unitel Money is committed to producing original, accurate and insightful analysis on mobile money, international remittances, stablecoins, blockchain payments and financial inclusion across emerging markets. Our editorial mission is to provide institutional-quality intelligence that serves professionals, researchers, policymakers and the general public with reliable, well-sourced information.

Sources & Methodology

All analysis published on Unitel Money is based on verifiable primary sources. Our editorial team prioritises the following source hierarchy: official government publications and regulatory filings, peer-reviewed academic research, institutional reports from organisations such as the World Bank, IMF, BIS, GSMA and McKinsey Global Institute, verified industry data from recognised financial data providers, and direct statements from company representatives obtained through official channels.

Secondary sources, including reputable news organisations such as Reuters, Financial Times and Bloomberg, are used for contextual background and are cross-referenced against primary data wherever possible. We do not use unverified social media posts, anonymous sources, or unattributed claims as the sole basis for any factual statement.

Fact-Checking Process

Every article undergoes multi-source verification before publication. Statistical claims are traced to their original source and verified against the most recent available data. Market projections and forward-looking statements are clearly identified as estimates and attributed to their source. Our editorial team maintains a fact-checking log for each published article, recording sources consulted, data points verified and any assumptions made.

Update Frequency

Published content is reviewed on a quarterly basis to ensure continued accuracy. Statistical data is updated as new reports become available from primary sources. Articles covering rapidly evolving topics — including cryptocurrency regulation, remittance pricing and mobile money adoption metrics — are flagged for more frequent review. All substantive updates include a visible "Last updated" date.

Corrections Policy

Unitel Money corrects factual errors promptly upon identification. Corrections are made directly in the article with a dated correction note appended at the bottom of the affected content. Material corrections that substantially change the meaning or conclusions of an article are accompanied by an editor's note explaining the nature of the correction. We encourage readers to report potential errors to [email protected].

Editorial Independence

No content published on Unitel Money is influenced by advertisers, sponsors, affiliate partners or any commercial relationship. Our editorial decisions — including topic selection, analysis, conclusions and recommendations — are made independently by our editorial team. Advertisers and sponsors have no prior review, approval or influence over any editorial content. This independence is non-negotiable and applies equally to all content published on the platform.

Disclosure Policy

Potential conflicts of interest are disclosed clearly and prominently. If any member of our editorial team holds financial positions relevant to topics covered, this is disclosed in the article. Sponsored content, if any, is clearly marked as such and separated from editorial content. Affiliate relationships are disclosed in accordance with applicable regulations and our Disclaimer.
